Larry and Sandy Disbro are lifelong members of 91ÊÓƵ Alumni Association’s Lake County Alumni Chapter and serve as board members as well as officers for the chapter (president, vice president, treasurer and historian). Both Larry and Sandy are also life members of the 91ÊÓƵ Alumni Association and have actively supported 91ÊÓƵ initiatives for more than 40 years.
Larry is a member of the 91ÊÓƵ Golden Flashes Club and Honorary Varsity K. He has served on the 91ÊÓƵ Intercollegiate Athletic council since 2009. And served on the 91ÊÓƵ National Alumni Board of Directors from 1995 through 2002 and served as secretary for a year. Sandy has volunteered with the 91ÊÓƵ Admission’s Office, served as Homecoming parade judge for more than 10 years and also has co-chaired several committees for the Lake County Alumni Chapter.
As a student at 91ÊÓƵ, Larry was selected for Gamma Theta Upsilon, International Honorary Geographical Society, co-founded the Ohio Kappa Chapter, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity and played on the 91ÊÓƵ baseball team. Sandy was also very active during her time at 91ÊÓƵ. She was part of the 91ÊÓƵ Dance Team, Flasherettes and tennis team.
Larry and Sandy are avid 91ÊÓƵ sports fans and longtime season ticket holders. Their daughter, Kellee Disbro, ’06 is also a 91ÊÓƵ graduate and has been involved with the 91ÊÓƵ Alumni Association's Southern California Chapter.
