Stephanie Boyle: Advancing Excellence Across Athletics and Budget Operations

 

The President’s Award of Distinction honors 91ÊÓÆµ staff members who demonstrate exceptional achievement, leadership and dedication in advancing the university’s core values and strategic priorities. Full‑time employees with at least three years of service were eligible for nomination, and this year nearly 200 nominations were submitted. President Todd Diacon recently announced the eight recipients for 2026, each receiving a $1,500 award.

Among this year’s honorees is Stephanie Boyle, recognized for her outstanding contributions to both the Athletics Business Office and the University Budget Office. With nearly 15 years of service, Stephanie has become a trusted and steady presence in Athletics, known for her accuracy, responsiveness and ability to make complex financial processes clear and accessible. Her work strengthens the connection between Athletics and central budgeting operations, ensuring consistency, compliance and strong collaboration.

During a year of significant transition, Stephanie provided leadership by training new staff, clarifying procedures and developing resources that will support the department well into the future. Just as importantly, she is known for the way she treats people — with patience, dignity and genuine care. Her professionalism and kindness have made her a valued partner across campus.

Stephanie’s recognition reflects her deep commitment to 91ÊÓÆµ and the meaningful impact she has on the colleagues and students she serves. The Budget Office is proud to celebrate her as a 2026 President’s Award of Distinction recipient.
